Worwyk's album is a heavy, and melodic band that has a very unique sound. Comparing their music to anyone else is somewhat of a challenge, but I'd have to say they have a Killswitch Engage meets Queensryche kind of sound about them (a unique blend I know.) Their music sounds new, but often takes me back to the comfort of older metal, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

I really like End of Days's familiarity with the old skool sound, the Circle of Trust's pano's, and The Mind's explosive opening.
Avantasia is an empowering melodic metal project lead by Tobias Sammet. The music sounds somewhat like what you get with bands like Kamelot and queensryche, but the sound transforms into many other sounds outside of that realm. It has some familiarity with the Arena Rock sound of the 80's with a semi-modern twist. The depth of Avantasia's music is wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the "epic" music sound, awesome guitar riffs, or Bon Jovi.
