Album Review: Take Cover-The Dreamer And The Realist

And now with 90% less fat, MelodyHunt.com
Welcome back.

This week I chose a band that is a little softer than the other ones I recently have reviewed. Take Cover is a pretty swell alternative rock band that has great vocals and moving lyrics. Their new album The Dreamer And The Realist will surround you with a "feel good" vibe that will stay with you even after your done listening. They remind me a little of Newfound Glory and Boys Like Girls.

The opening song on the album, Declaration, starts off with a slow melodic intro and jumps into a fist pumping call for change, that can be interpreted however you want. If you're angry, upset, or just want to sing along to a song with some emotion in it, this is a great song for you. Listen to some of the samples below and comment to let me know what you think.

Other good songs on the album include such hits as Back Pedal, Everything You Do, and Don't Say you Love Me. Each one will inspire you in a different way and stick with you for a while. Before you know it you'll be singing these songs on your own at work, in the car, or even the shower.

In conclusion, Take Cover is great. I recommend buying this album below and supporting these guys. I know they would greatly appreciate it, as would I. So support them below and leave me some comments.
