Album Review: We Built Atlantis!-Empty Cities

To our followers, thanks for returning, for the people not following us and reading this, click follow or else. Welcome back to MelodyHunt.

This Week I'm checking out a band with an awesome mix of sounds, We Built Atlantis. With a mix of electronic, screamo, metal, and hardcore they are the most diverse band I've heard in a long time. Their EP, Empty Cities has earned them a pretty good reputation already even though they just formed the band early this year. They remind me of a mix between Silverstein, Attack Attack, and Hawthorn Heights. Check out the widget below for a sample of some of their music.

From beginning to end, this album is great. You can't go wrong with any part of what they do, whether it's the drums, guitar, vocals, screams, or synth it all blends and works great. My personal favorite, Safe And Sound, starts off slow and melodic but then throws you into the heavy sound with a scream that gets you ready and wanting more. It constantly pulls you in and it only gets better.

I could go on and on about every song on the album, but truth be told they are all amazing. From Breath Less, Breathless, to Without Fear, the album doesn't have a single bad song on it. Not many cd's these days can really keep you interested from start to finish and finding a band that can do that is awesome. We Built Atlantis has struck gold with this EP.

So if you haven't already clicked buy this album, you need to do that pronto. I highly recommend this band to everyone that likes metal and electronic bands. We Built Atlantis has earned a spot among some of my favorite bands and I highly anticipate more from them. Support this band by clicking the links below.
